The resumption of flights is the result of a collaboration between Morocco’s National Tourist Office (ONMT) and Binter airline. Bethencourt emphasized the exceptional relationship between the two parties, stating, “This initiative has been made possible thanks to Binter’s exceptional relationship with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT).” He added that the collaboration agreement aims to strengthen their commitment to tourism recovery and enhance connectivity with the Canary Islands.
Enhancing Essaouira’s Aviation Infrastructure
Abdelmounaim Aoutoul, commander of the Essaouira International Airport, highlighted the significance of the new flight link in strengthening the airport’s air service offerings. “Essaouira-Mogador International Airport is considered one of the important aviation infrastructures in the Kingdom and plays a central role in the economic and tourism development of Essaouira and the Marrakech-Safi region,” Aoutoul stated.
